How self-pour works at Pour Choice
Pour Choice Taphouse is Orlando's largest self-pour tap room. We are a tap house with 50 rotating beverages on draft, a full liquor bar, and RFID self-pour technology that lets guests pour their own drinks from the tap wall and pay by the ounce. It is a faster, more flexible, and more interactive way to drink in a bar.
Here is the card and ID process, then how pouring by the ounce works.
- Check in at the front bar. A bartender checks a valid photo ID. Pour Choice is 21 and older. You open a tab with a card (credit or debit). Cash is also accepted. There is no cover charge to enter.
- Get the RFID wristband. The wristband is linked to your tab. It is the key to the 50-tap wall in the main room. You wear it for the visit.
- Tap, read the screen, pour. Tap the wristband to any handle. The screen above that tap shows the drink and the price per ounce. Pull the handle for as much or as little as you want. A two-ounce taste is a valid pour. A full glass is a valid pour. Walk away when you are done.
- Pay by the ounce. Your tab updates in real time. You are billed for the ounces you actually pour, not a fixed pint. Prices vary by tap, so we do not publish one per-ounce number. Close out at the bar when you leave.
Staff monitor the wall and enforce a responsible serving cap per session. You are not unsupervised. You are just not queued. If you want a classic cocktail, wine, or a spirit pour, the full liquor bar is staffed in the same room.
Why a Tap Room Beats a Traditional Bar
- No line at the bar. Everyone has their own wristband and their own tap. Waiting five deep for a bartender just does not happen.
- Try before you commit. Pour a two or three ounce taste of anything. Sample three Florida IPAs, two ciders, and a lager for less than a couple pints would cost elsewhere.
- Pay by the ounce. You drink exactly as much as you want of exactly what you want. Nothing is forced on you by the pint glass.
- Rotating tap menu. 50 taps keep rotating so regulars always find something new. You might see a cold-crushing pilsner, a pastry stout, a Florida sour, a craft cider, a hard seltzer, and a pre-batched Old Fashioned side by side.
- Full bar too. If craft beer is not your thing, our bartenders shake and stir classic and modern cocktails, pour natural wine, and serve any spirit you want.
- Interactive and social. Groups love it. There is constant movement between tables and the tap wall, which breaks up silos at team outings, first dates, and big birthday parties.
What's on the Tap Menu
The live tap menu on the homepage shows exactly what is pouring right now. A typical snapshot has 15 to 20 craft beers across IPA, stout, lager, sour, and pilsner styles, 2 to 4 hard seltzers, 2 to 3 ciders, 2 to 4 cocktails on tap, and a few curveballs like a kombucha or a specialty collab. Expect plenty of Florida breweries (Orlando Brewing, 3 Daughters, Motorworks, Ology, Hidden Spring, Crooked Can, Playalinda, and rotating guests from around the state) and well-regarded national names.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 5 to 7 PM, rotating happy hour specials apply to the self-pour wall and the full bar. On Saturday afternoons and Sundays, the crowd mellows and it is a great time to take your time on an unfamiliar style.

What you are actually paying for
You pay by the ounce, not by the pint glass. A two-ounce taste of a high-ABV stout can cost less than a soda at a theme-park hotel. A full pour of a house lager is priced like a neighborhood draft. The value shows up when a group wants to try four or five styles instead of locking into two pints. It also shows up when someone in the group does not drink beer: cocktails on tap, hard seltzer, cider, and a staffed full liquor bar sit in the same room.
How the RFID wristband keeps groups moving
Check in, show a valid photo ID, open a tab, wear the wristband. Tap, pour, walk. Staff still monitor the wall and enforce a responsible serving cap per session. You are not unsupervised. You are just not queued. For a team outing or a birthday, that removes the classic failure mode: half the group waiting, half the group already two drinks in, nobody talking.
When to book instead of walk in
Walk-ins are welcome during regular hours. Inquire when you have 20 or more guests, when you need a dedicated section, when you want a DJ or screens for a program, or when you need a date outside regular hours. Buyouts depend on the day. The list rotates. Expect a spread of IPAs, lagers, stouts, and sours, plus hard seltzer, cider, and a few cocktails on tap. Florida breweries show up often, alongside national names.
