The Mills 50 Bar Scene
The Mills 50 District is the cultural heart of Orlando's bar scene. Centered around the intersection of North Mills Avenue and East Colonial Drive, this walkable neighborhood is home to independent restaurants, art galleries, music venues, and some of the best bars in Orlando. It sits about 5 minutes from downtown Orlando, 5 minutes from Lake Eola and Ivanhoe Village, 15 minutes from UCF, and 20 minutes from the Orange County Convention Center, which makes it a convenient destination for locals, visitors, and conference groups alike.
On any given evening on Mills Ave you will find locals hopping between Vietnamese restaurants, craft cocktail lounges, and neighborhood taverns. Pour Choice Taphouse anchors the craft beer side of that scene with the largest self-pour tap wall on Mills Ave and a full liquor bar that covers everything from classic cocktails to natural wine.
Why Pour Choice Leads the Mills 50 Tap House Scene
- Largest tap wall on Mills Ave. 50 rotating taps of craft beer, hard seltzer, cider, and cocktails on tap, plus a full bar staffed by friendly bartenders.
- Self-pour changes everything. No fighting for a bartender's attention. Get a wristband, taste, sample, and pour as much or as little as you want, paying by the ounce.
- Built for groups. 91 guests inside with a large outdoor area. Private and semi-private event space for parties, corporate outings, and convention after-parties.
- BYO food policy. No overpriced bar snacks required. Order from any Mills 50 restaurant, pick up Vietnamese across the street, or bring a caterer.
- 10+ HDTVs. Game day from NFL Sunday to March Madness to UFC. Sound on for the big ones.
- Big Mills 50 energy. Patio, bright interior, approachable vibe, friendly staff, and a neighborhood crowd that makes the room feel alive.
