Address: 1225 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803. The address most locals know as "the corner of Mills and Virginia Drive," right on the border of Mills 50 and Ivanhoe Village.
Hours: Wednesday and Thursday 5 PM to midnight, Friday 5 PM to 2 AM, Saturday noon to 2 AM, Sunday noon to 10 PM. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Parking: Large shared parking lot on site. Plenty of free street parking on Mills and surrounding streets. Rideshare from downtown Orlando is a five minute drop.
What to order first: If you are new to self-pour, start with a five ounce taste of whatever is tapped from a Florida brewery. If you are a cocktail person, ask which pre-batched cocktails are on tap. If you are with a group, grab a flight of four or five styles and compare.
What to eat: We do not serve food, but Mills 50 is packed with options. Vietnamese is legendary a block away. Pizza, tacos, ramen, and Thai are all a short drive or walk. Order delivery to the bar, or we can help recommend based on what you are drinking.
Best time to visit: Thursday and Friday happy hour from 5 to 7 PM are the liveliest mid-week times. Saturday afternoon through evening is usually buzzing. Sunday afternoon is perfect if you want a relaxed pour and to watch the game.
How to Choose a Mills 50 Bar for Your Night
Mills 50 is not one scene. It is a few overlapping ones on the same few blocks, which is why "best bar" depends on what you are actually trying to do.
If you want variety and a mixed group
Self-pour is the easiest format when your group includes a craft beer person, a cocktail person, a seltzer person, and someone who just wants a lager. Fifty taps plus a full liquor bar covers that spread without a 15-minute round of drink orders. Pay-by-the-ounce also keeps first-timers from committing to a pint of something they might not like. That is why Pour Choice is the default for birthdays, office groups, and anyone who does not want to argue about where to meet.
If you want a sit-down cocktail or Japanese pub night
Mills 50 has strong cocktail and izakaya energy. Tori Tori on the district's Japanese-pub side is a known local for charcoal skewers and classic cocktails. Newer rooms keep opening along Mills Ave and Colonial, including cocktail concepts that have been announced for the corridor. Those rooms are better when you want a seated, slower night than a tap wall. Many guests still start or end at Pour Choice because the parking is simple and the tap list is the widest on the street.
If you want something you cannot get anywhere else
Zymarium Meadery, a few blocks down Mills Ave, is Orlando's first meadery and a 2025 Orlando Weekly Best of Orlando Mills 50 bar winner. It is a different drink category than a 50-tap beer wall, and it is a good companion stop if you are bar-hopping. Pair it with Vietnamese food on Colonial and a self-pour session here and you have a night that does not look like downtown Orlando or I-Drive.
If you need space, TVs, and no cover
A lot of neighborhood bars in Mills 50 are small. That is part of the charm until you show up with 18 people. Pour Choice is built for that job: 91 indoor capacity, outdoor space, 10-plus HDTVs, and 50 taps so the line never becomes the night. Private and semi-private setups are available by date. Eat First, Then Pour
The smartest Mills 50 nights treat food and drinks as two moves, not one restaurant reservation. Eat Vietnamese on the Little Saigon stretch of Colonial Drive, grab Japanese curry or sushi at Mills Market, or pick up pizza and tacos on Mills Ave. Then walk or drive two minutes to 1225 N Mills Ave. You can also order delivery to the bar. There is no food corkage.
East End Market (Audubon Park, a short hop east) is the Saturday morning ritual for a lot of locals: coffee, baked goods, and a packed hall. Mills Market is the Asian food hall on Colonial. Neither replaces a bar, but both make Pour Choice an easy second stop because we do not lock you into a kitchen package.
Parking is the other reason groups pick this block. Street parking on Mills Ave is typically free in the evening. We have a large shared lot on site. Rideshare from Lake Eola or downtown is usually under $15 and five minutes. That combination is rare in Orlando bar districts that sit next to paid garages.
